It’s been a bit quiet because I have been busy reading. In the last few months I have read 53 new Dutch management books in order to select the Management Book of the Year 2022. That was quite a few books…😅
Yesterday evening we came together as the jury to determine the longlist. We had to meet via Teams, unfortunately, but we had a lot of fun! We had good discussions about impressive, educational, sensational and inspiring books. Plenty of choice among them for the longlist. So we choose those books. 👍
There’s a few details left to sort out, and then the longlist will be announced in a few week’s time. There’s about 50 books on the longlist, and I expect roughly a quarter of the books that I read to be on it. 🧾
In the meantime I will continue reading in order to determine the shortlist! The five best books from the longlist make it onto the shortlist, so I am very much looking forward to reading the candidates in the coming weeks! 📚
